PRIVACY POLICY
At MUK Barcelona we take your data seriously. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use https://mukbarcelona.com, for what purpose, and what rights you have over it, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD).

2. What data we collect
Data you provide: name, email, phone number, shipping and billing address when you place an order or create an account; email when you subscribe to our newsletter; the content of your messages when you contact us; and the text or images you upload when personalizing a product.
Payment data: payments are processed through Shopify Payments and the corresponding payment gateways (card, PayPal, Bizum, Apple Pay, Google Pay). We do not store your full card details: they are encrypted and sent directly to the payment provider.
Browsing data: IP address, device type, pages visited and cookies, as detailed in our Cookie Policy.
3. Why we use your data and legal basis
a) Managing your order (preparation, shipping, invoicing, after-sales service and returns) — legal basis: performance of the sales contract.
b) Managing your customer account — legal basis: performance of the contract.
c) Sending you commercial communications (newsletter, offers, news) — legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email.
d) Showing you personalized advertising on platforms such as Meta (Facebook/Instagram) or Google — legal basis: your consent through cookie settings.
e) Responding to your inquiries via the contact form, email or social media — legal basis: legitimate interest in responding to you.
f) Complying with legal obligations (tax, accounting, consumer law) — legal basis: legal obligation.
4. Who we share your data with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with providers necessary to deliver the service, who act as data processors:
— Shopify Inc. (e-commerce platform and payment processing)
— Shipping and logistics companies for order delivery, including fulfillment centers in the US for orders from that market
— Klaviyo (email and commercial communications)
— Meta and Google (advertising and measurement, if you accept the corresponding cookies)
Some of these providers are located outside the European Economic Area (US). In these cases, transfers are carried out with the appropriate safeguards under the GDPR, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
5. How long we keep your data
Order and invoicing data is kept for the periods required by tax and commercial regulations. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Account data is kept as long as you maintain your account. Browsing data is kept according to the periods stated in our Cookie Policy.
6. Your rights
You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability at any time by writing to info@mukbarcelona.com with the subject "Data protection", stating your name and the right you wish to exercise. You can also withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
If you believe we have not handled your data correctly, you can file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
7. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including SSL encryption on all transmissions and restricted access to personal information.
8. Minors
This store is not directed at persons under 14 years of age. If we detect data from a minor without parental consent, we will delete it.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to adapt it to legal or operational changes. The current version will always be the one published on this page.
